2009 Events - 03 October (<previous day next day>)
The Prince's Trust cookery book launch, with Norfolk County Council
On Saturday 3 October, come and meet local celebrity, Richard Hickman, head chef at The Victoria at Holkham, at 1pm at the Forum Cookery Theatre. He will be helping Norfolk County Council's Million Makers team launch their new cookbook, Meal Makers, by demonstrating the recipe he contributed to the book - Roger will also be on hand to answer all your culinary questions.
Million Makers is a national competition that challenges teams of employees to raise funds for The Prince’s Trust - all money raised from the Meal Makers cookery book will go straight to help Norfolk's young people aged 14-30 get into training, education and employment
With recipes contributed from local people, Norfolk County Council staff, local celebrities and young people whohave benefited from some of The Prince's Trust projects, the Meal Makers recipe book is one way this team of volunteers hope to raise funds to make a positive difference to the young people of Norfolk. Come and support the team, we'd love to see you there.
