Come and learn about the local brewing story from the 1100’s to the
present day in our new visitor centre, which has recreated the feel of a
traditional English public house complete with sawdust on the floor. Look round the brewery Monday Wednesday Friday mornings. Free samples of Blackfriars real ale in the historic courtyard where ladies once packed silver darlings (herrings). Adults only, the event is free.
