One of Norfolk's many glories is the quality of the food raised on the land here. We have some of the best restaurateurs and chefs in the country and they will tell you how superb local produce is. It's good that so much of the county is our secret, but there are some aspects of Norfolk you want to shout from the rooftops. I'm very proud to have to been asked to be a patron of the EDP/Bidwells Norfolk Food Festival and urge everyone to tuck in and enjoy a great Festival.

I am immensely proud to champion Norfolk and its produce. Our county is a wonderful garden of seasonal gems, coupled with a unique coastline that brings us all the fruits of the sea. We have in the past been perceived almost as a culinary outpost but Norfolk has advanced to one of the most fashionable counties for serving seasonal and regional foods in a relatively short space of time.
