I'm delighted to once again support the EDP Bidwells Norfolk Food Festival. It was a huge success last year and I'm sure 2011 will be even better. Norwich City are back in the Premier League, and that's where Norfolk food belongs too. We've got the best offering of local food and drink in the country and we want as many people to come to Norfolk and try it for themselves - particularly if it's a match day at Carrow Road!

I am both honoured and privileged to be a patron once again for the EDP Bidwell's Norfolk Food Festival. Norfolk is blessed with great farming land and exceptional wet fish with its miles and miles of fabulous coastline. It's so easy and an enormous pleasure to be working and living in such a marvellous county. When you know that the produce we can source is of the best quality it makes sense to use what's in your own backyard.

I'm pleased to pledge my support to the EDP Bidwells Norfolk Food Festival. It was a huge success last year and I'm sure 2011 will be even better. Norfolk has a fantastic array of local food and drink and it's great to have an event that celebrates this. In addition we have just opened our first Norfolk Carluccio's in Chapelfield, Norwich so we're very excited to be a new addition to the county's dining scene.

I think when you join a community you have to support that community in every sense - whether it's buying your duck eggs from the local farm or your bacon and sausages from the local butcher down the road. Food festivals are very important because what they do is ignite passion within people to eat better and to cook more at home, and you have people sharing their knowledge and stories, which can be life-changing. It's also key to expose the young to good local food. I'm looking forward to visiting it.
