Professor David Boxer, Director, Institute of Food Research
"At the IFR we are very happy to be supporting the Norfolk Food Festival. Having only recently moved to the area, I am delighted that the Institute will be bringing its world-leading research in food, diet and health to the people of Norfolk through the Festival."

Professor Mike Bevan, Acting-director, John Innes Centre
"The John Innes Centre is very pleased to continue supporting the Norfolk Food Festival. We all enjoy celebrating the best food Norfolk has to offer, but more and more these days we are aware of the challenges in producing good food sustainably, economically and safely. Research taking place at the John Innes Centre into food crops underpins the nation’s food security enabling us to continue to enjoy this food well into the future."

Nick Champion, National Trust
The National Trust sources food that is fresh, local and seasonal. It invests hundreds of thousands of pounds into Norfolk's food producers each year and supports its tenant farmers and local fishing communities with advice and support. We hope to inspire people to discover the delights of growing their own food and celebrating the wonderful taste that 'plot to plate' can bring; along with the contribution to a reduction in food miles. We are delighted to share the same aspirations as Norfolk Food Festival and hope that we can play a major part in this well established extravaganza of all things 'foody'.

Sarah De Chair, The Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association
The Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, organisers of the Royal Norfolk Show, are delighted to be able to continue our support of the Norfolk Food Festival. Our involvement is in organising the food stands in the Forum, which is our way of helping to promote our local producers. We also run the very popular Battle of the Bangers, a sausage competition to find the best sausage, made from locally produced sausage meat made and cooked by local butchers.
This all fits comfortably into our Association mission statement which is to encourage and promote agriculture and education in relation to food, farming and the countryside, something the Festival is also striving to achieve.
